Senior year is such a special chapter, and capturing it in a way that truly reflects each senior’s personality is what I live for. Ryen’s session at Jester Hill Flower Farm near Des Moines was the perfect example of that — and WOW, she absolutely radiated.
Even in the summer heat, Ryen delivered look after look with confidence, style, and so much personality. I’ve had the joy of photographing her since she was a kid, so getting to document this chapter of her life felt extra special. Seniors like Ryen remind me why I love what I do — watching them grow, glow, and embrace this milestone is everything.
The flower farm offered endless variety for her session: vibrant flower beds, an ivy-covered wall, towering trees, and even a serene lake. We were able to create a gallery full of different vibes while staying true to Ryen’s personality and style. She was such a trooper, keeping her energy up even when the sun was high and the humidity was real!
