Some wedding days just feel extra special… and this one will stay with me forever. Stacey and Cedric, you two glow for each other. I’ve known you both for years and have photographed a handful of sessions together, but getting to document your wedding day? That truly takes the cake. The joy, the calm, the pure connection — it was all so evident in every moment.
We started at Albright’s Bluff for their first look, and it could not have been more perfect. The emotion, the breeze, the scenery… everything aligned. Later that evening, we returned there for the reception, and the space was just as magical as it was earlier in the day. Warm light, happy people, and these two soaking it all in.
Their ceremony took place at Sac and Fox in Steamboat Rock, Iowa — an absolutely stunning outdoor location with views that felt like they were made for wedding vows. The overlook, the trees, the way the sun hit the space… photographing their ceremony and portraits here was a dream. Truly one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremony spots I’ve ever worked at.
The whole day was filled with love, laughter, and the kind of genuine emotion that makes photography feel like such a gift. Their family and friends showed up with so much support and joy, and it was impossible not to feel wrapped up in all the good energy.
